David Galbraith, “The History and Cultural Landscape of the Royal Botanical Gardens”
David is Royal Botanical Gardens’ head of science. A wildlife biologist by training, he oversees the library, archives, herbarium, and RBG research. Since 2007 he has led the development of the Cootes to Escarpment EcoPark System park alliance, for which he was named Hamilton Environmentalist of the Year in 2010. David is also an adjunct professor in the biology department of McMaster University, a Fellow of the Royal Canadian Geographical Society, and a Fellow International of the Explorers Club.
